CORRECT INTERPRETATION
The stated rating applies when the product is installed according to its instructions and its seals, covers and cable entries are correctly secured.
IPX6 and IPX8 describe different water tests. Suitability should be assessed from the documented test conditions, not from numerical order alone.
Impact resistance is expressed by an IK rating, not the IP code. Chemical resistance, corrosion, UV exposure and operating temperature require separate assessment.
